Today we painted the Southern lights for Matariki.
We are celebrating Matariki on 24 of june in New Zealand.
this year for the first time it is a public holiday.

the easy thing was everything but the hard thing was the paint getting everywhere

Greetings I really think your use of Pastels is very clever to show the lights. I liked how you tore the paper to create the mountains and valleys. I had difficulty tearing the paper. Do you know that this year is the first time Matariki is a public holiday. I wonder what special food will be eaten for Matariki.
